Jawan advance booking day 4: Shah Rukh Khan’s film sells over 7 lakh tickets, mints Rs 21.14 crore

Jawan box office: Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film Jawan has done a business of Rs 21.14 crore in India in advance ticket sale. The film will hit the theatres on September 7.

Even before its release, Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan’s advance booking appears to be on an unstoppable trajectory. The highly anticipated movie is setting records in advance ticket sales. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has already grossed a remarkable Rs 21.14 crore in India, selling over seven lakh advance tickets. The film will hit the theatres on September 7.

The film has sold 6,75,735 tickets in the Hindi 2D market, with an additional 13,268 tickets sold for IMAX screenings. In the Tamil market, it has sold 28,945 tickets, and in the Telugu market, 24,010 tickets. In total, 741,958 tickets have been sold for Jawan.

Jawan has also performed exceptionally well in some regions, grossing Rs 2.79 crore in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Rs 1.9 crore in Mumbai. In addition, it has garnered Rs 1.61 crore in Bangalore, Rs 1.47 crore in Hyderabad, and Rs 1.54 crore in Kolkata.

Film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan reported on Jawan’s performance in national multiplexes, comparing it to the top 10 films that achieved impressive numbers in advance booking earlier. He noted, “Top 10 Day 1 Advance at National Multiplexes #Baahubali2 – 6,50,000 #Pathaan – 5,56,000 #KGFChapter2 – 5,15,000 #War – 4,10,000 #ThugsOfHindostan – 3,46,000 #PremRatanDhanPayo – 3,40,000 #Bharat – 3,16,000 #Sultan – 3,10,000 #Dangal – 3,05,000 #Brahmastra – 3,02,000 #Jawan Day 1 current tickets sold at National Multiplexes Chain – 2,72,732.”

In #AskSRK session, Shah Rukh Khan had expressed his happiness while interacting with fans, acknowledging the record-breaking advance ticket sales. He stated, “I’m very happy that all of you want to experience films in theaters as a community. #Jawan will, Insha Allah, be a big-screen experience for all.” He also added, “I feel blessed by the love of so many people! My family and I are eternally grateful for this immense love. #Jawan.”
